Veggie in the Yard

An Alugbati graced our newly created garden this morning, I hope my wife’s thumb is still green in taking care of them as it grows. I love to eat Alugbati, it is known in English as Malabar Night Shade, and a good substitute for spinach. The young shoots and stems are delicious to eat. It is an excellent source of calcium and iron; good source of vitamins A, B, and C. It can help us meet our recommended daily need of those vitamins, I hope it will grow just like our tomato, (not yet bearing fruit) chick-pea (balatong) and our eggplant.
